QUOTE (Coppers Lot @ Mar 10 2010, 05:17 PM) *
Very nice as always Rob,
But these mirrors are being used as splashbacks, is the mirror side treated with some anti smear or anti water type repellent please or does the owner employ a cleaner?

Yes all the mirrors that I ship are coated with Diamond Shield and they keep from water marks, helps prevent scratching and cleaning off grease is easy.

Good insight Jess. I know Shane also uses Ulenko products and swears by it. I know I have some around here, ....

Jess,

Thanks I will buy it. Personally I like Invisashield and use it on on my etchings unless they are being laminated. Seems like I have been doing a lot of etching on tectured glass and when it is done I do not coat it because it goes into a laminator.

I pay like $6 per pack and it will do an entire job in most cases. That is not really bad but I am going to try your stuff Jess for a couple weeks on shop trails to see how I like it as if you say its good I believe it is good.

Yesterday I was dropping off 10 pieces of cabinet glass with a simple fluer de lis design and the cabinet maker used to use another guy and he asked me what I put on the glass as they are super easy to clean and the etching doesnt except fingerprints and I just said it was a trade secret. He laughed and said keep it up as he handed me 2 more jobs. Honestly I dont think it matters if you use Rain-X as long as you use something but leaving an etching raw??? hmmmmmmmmm
