I can see many did not read the forum rules before checking the box to become a member so I am posting a copy here. Here is the link to the first page of the sign up where every member agrees to follow these rules.

NEW UPDATES! to add who is a advertiser?

The easy way to understand who has to sign up as an advertiser is this. Do you sell or wish to sell anything TO the sand carving community? If the answer is yes, then this is for you.

Advertising:

We have set up a place for those who wish to sell items, instruction, or supplies to our Sandcarving community. It can be found here http://www.cuttinged...hp?showforum=57 this forum is for paid advertisers to post anything they wish about what they sell. It could be weekly specials, the latest items, or any event they may be planning. All post that contain reference to any item or service for sale MUST be made in this forum. Any threads that are created that a mod/admin interpret as an advertisement will be moved to the advertiser Forum if the author is an advertiser or removed from public view for all posts that are made by non-advertiser members. Decisions made by a mod/admin are final.

It is unfortunate that we must escalate the enforcement of this rule. But we have members who have paid to advertise in the forum that has been set aside for those type of post.

Please help us by reporting posts that are attempts to advertise items or services for sale in an effort to circumvent our advertising policies by clicking the report a post button.

Please do not try to “handle it” yourself by posting something negative, just click the button and a admin/mod will look into it.


New warning bar

You can see below your avatar there is a new “warn” bar with 5 little boxes next to it. This has always been a part of the forum software, but I chose not to use it until now. I set it up to assist the admin/mods when they need to access a members profile to give a warning over a number of possibilities. But for 99.9% of our membership you most likely will never get a warning so you have nothing to worry about. It really is for those few that even after a pm about a post they still act as if they know nothing about the complaint, so this way they have a record of the event.
